LG Signature
The Godin LGX-SA has enjoyed tremendous success and there is no doubt that the acoustic bridge and synth access have contributed to the LGX-SA’s popularity. However, there is also no doubt that if it wasn’t—first and foremost—a great guitar then the extra bells and whistles wouldn’t matter. With that in mind—along with countless requests from guitar players—Godin has launched the LG Signature. Essentially an LGX minus the ‘X’, the LG Signature features a mahogany neck that is generous in girth but retains the comfort of a smaller neck thanks to Godin’s ergocut shaping technique. The use of a 25.5” scale in a mahogany guitar produces a best-of-both-worlds kind of combination. A new 5-way switching configuration and a pair of Seymour Duncan humbuckers helps to make the most of the LG Signature’s considerable potential. Of course, it wouldn’t be a Godin Signature Series guitar if it didn’t boast the stunning good looks of a carved flame maple top.
