**** “EARPHORIC” INTONATION SET UP ****

We can provide you and your instruments with an intonation set up that is far more detailed (and consequently....better!) than both the Earvana ™ or Buzz Feiten ™ ideas.

Simply put...both of those "super intonation" methods are based upon better compromises than the regular tempered scale for fretted instruments ( as we've known, and tolerated, it for so long ).....but they are still compromises nonetheless!
For example: with the Buzz Feiten ™ system it is required to intentionally miss-intonate and also miss-tune the guitar to make it work to its best! While both the Earvana ™ and Buzz Feiten ™ methods are fantastic improvements on the standard intonation set up they do have their limitations as far as some players are concerned

The method that we have developed (the "Earphoric" set up) is based upon the same modern thinking but so improved as to be truly accurate on each individual instrument. It takes into consideration such factors as the string gauges, tuning range, preferred action, playing style / technique etc etc etc..... It is also 'non-invasive' to the instrument (so it is fully reversible if needed to be!) unlike the other two systems and is, consequently, 'vintage-friendly' because of that. Steps can even be taken to 'hide' or ‘camouflage’ the modifications so that, unless under up-close inspection, the guitar looks to be still in standard trim whilst managing to out-perform all the other fretted instruments around it!

Typical costs for this procedure are in the range of $140.00 to $160.00 plus taxes for standard electric guitars, $160.00 to $185.00 for floating / locking tremolo guitars (and most bass guitars), and $150.00 to $350.00 for acoustic guitars.
(Note: Surcharges will be applied to such instruments as 12-strings or double-necks etc and those that require any other repairs to enable them to be modified successfully.)
